DESCRIPTION:The 18th Annual Raise a Reader Day is back in Kamloops!  Save your coins for Raise a Reader Day on Wednesday September 24th between 7:00 and 9:00 am at various McDonalds and Tim Hortons locations. Watch for local celebrities\, sponsors\, sports teams\, and volunteers giving out the September issue of the Kamloops Chronicle featuring Raise a Reader story and donate to Literacy!  ALL money collected stays in your community to help fund local family literacy programs.\nMake a donation and make a difference!  Literacy Matters!\nThank you to our media partners CFJC Broadcast group and The Kamloops Chronical for supporting this amazing campaign. \n
